One Pan Almond Butter Bars

Ingredients & Equipment Needed For This Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Unsalted Butter
  • Almond Butter
  • Rolled Oats
  • Granulated Sugar
  • Brown Sugar
  • Vanilla Paste or Extract
  • All-Purpose Flour
  • Chocolate of Choice– I like dark or milk chocolate!
  • Baking Soda
  • Baking Powder
  • Kosher Salt

Equipment:

  • Set of measuring cups and spoons OR Digital Kitchen Scale if using Metric
  • 8″ X 8″ Metal Baking Dish
  • Rubber Spatula
  • Parchment Paper
  • Pan Spray

How To Make One Pan Almond Butter Bars

Step One:

Begin by gathering together all the ingredients. Yes this is a one pan recipe, You can add to the pan as listed below.

Step Two:

Pre-heat the oven to 350° F. Line the bottom of an 8″ X8″ pan with parchment paper. Add in the butter, almond butter, and both the granulated and brown sugar. Place in the oven to melt/soften the butter for 5 minutes.

Step Three:

Combine with a rubber spatula until all of the ingredients are well combined.

Step Four:

Add in the flour, oats, baking soda, and kosher salt. Again, combine with the rubber spatula until well combined. Press into an even layer on the bottom of the pan.

Step Five:

Add the chocolate of choice on top.

Step Six:

Place in the oven and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the edges start to brown slightly.

Step Seven:

Spread out the chocolate that has been melted on top. Let cool 15 minutes before cutting into 2.5″ squares and enjoying.

Kinda Professional Tips for One Pan Almond Butter Bars

  • Make sure to let the butter, almond butter, and sugars cool down before adding in the dry ingredients. This will make it easier to combine.
  • These bars are amazing when refrigerated. Enjoy as a quick breakfast treat. This is the way I always eat them!
  • The almond bars will keep at room temperature in a close-able container for up to three days. They will keep in the fridge in the same type of container for five days and in the freezer for up to two weeks.

  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar (50 g)
  • 1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar (100 g)
  • 1/4 Cup Almond Butter, crunchy or smooth (70 g)
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract or Paste (2 g)
  • 1/4 Cup Rolled Oats, not instant (60 g)
  • 1/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour or Gluten Free Alternative* (22 g)
  • 1/4 tsp Kosher Salt (1 g)
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda (2 g)
  • 1/2 Cup Milk or Dark Chocolate, chopped or chunks (80 g)
