My posts are full of information but I also like to try and share a little bit of background on the recipe from my perspective. Not too much, just a little. Long story short my great aunt and uncle had a fish fry restaurant in my hometown. I never worked there, but my mom did on the weekends/summers and picked up the best recipes which of course she shared with me!

Fry sauce is an Idaho and maybe Utah staple. If you go to pretty much any restaurant, they’re going to have some form of this delicious dip! You can buy it in some stores, not sure about the U.S. but why buy when you can make it! Whip this up before your fries are even done cooking!

My Kinda Professional Tips For Fry Sauce

  • This recipe is pretty fail-proof! But would suggest just making sure that all of the ingredients are well combined.
  • If you want a little more heat, you can add a dash (or two) of cayenne powder.
  • Probably the best part of this recipe is that it keeps in a close-able container in the fridge for up to 2 months!
